ST. FRANCIS XAVIER REVIVAL!!

The Historic St. Francis Xavier Church of the Pastorate of St. Ann/St. Wenceslaus and St. Francis Xavier, host their annual Revival entitled "Your Condition Is Not Your Conclusion"  It will take place at the church Thursday, November 29th through Saturday, December 1st at 6:30 p.m. on each of the three evenings.  The Revival will be led by Reverend Maurice J. Nutt, C.Ss.R., D.Min.

Redemptorist Missionary Vice-Postulator of the Cause for Canonization of Sr. Thea Bowman, FSPA.

PASTORATE PASTORAL VISITATION

On Sunday, December 2nd, the First Day of Advent,  Most Reverend William E. Lori, Archbishop of Baltimore will make his Pastoral Visitation to our Pastorate of St. Ann, St. Wenceslaus and St. Francis Xavier. Archbishop Lori will celebrate the 11 am Mass at St. Francis Xavier on this day. All parishes within the Pastorate are invited to attend. This will be the only 11 am Mass on this day. There will be no Mass at St. Ann’s. A 9 am Mass will be offered at St. Wenceslaus. A luncheon celebration will be held immediately following Mass in St. Francis Xavier’s Church Hall where the Archbishop will meet and speak with parishioners. Pray for God’s Spirit to bless and inspire all who will be a part of our Pastorate Pastoral Visitation.

THE JOSEPHITES FATHERS & BROTHERS 125TH ANNIVERSARY

The Josephites Fathers & Brothers will celebrate their 125th Anniversary November 16–17 with a Mass of Thanksgiving at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Banquet to follow at the Baltimore Convention Center. Please help the Josephites keep to their missions to the African American Community and support the Josephite programs home and abroad. Bishop Madden invites you to join him for his next prayer walk tomorrow evening,  Monday, October 29, beginning at 5:30 pm., at Holy Cross (110 East West Street, 21230).  The evening will begin with a light meal at 5:30 p.m. and end before 7:30 p.m. During the walk, we will pray at specific locations that have been affected by violence, and for all those individuals who have been so terribly affected by violence, and for a change of heart in those given to violence.

The Office of Black Catholic Ministries will sponsor its’ 28th annual “Keep On Teaching” Saturday, September 8, 9am – 2:45pm at Holy Family Catholic Church, 9531 Liberty Rd. Randallstown, MD 21133. This year’s theme is “Travelling With Jesus As Missionary Disciples-A Retreat”, and is a Part II to last year’s Keep On Teaching titled “Building the Believer To Strengthen Discipleship”. Plans are underway for a Back to School Night at St. Ann’s on Saturday, August 25th. Members of our parish are gathering items to be placed in back packs to be distributed. You may bring your donated school supplies and place them in the back of the church or drop them off at the rectory.
